Great Achievement For State & SITOP |
| State Institute for Town Planning (formerly known as MPVPS) was State Level Nodal Agency for UIDSSMT Schemes from 2006 to 2010. During this period, Madhya Pradesh Vikas Pradhaikaran Sangh organise 14 different training programmes for Urban Local Body Officers/Officials.In 2009, State Institute for Town Planning (formerly known as MPVPS) prepared a training module for Urban Local Bodies under UIDSSMT Schemes and sent it to Government of India, |

Ministry of Urban Development through State Government, Housing & Environment for approval of training module.Government of India, Ministry of Urban Development vide letter dated 09.07.2010 not only approved this training module but also circulated it all the States of India and directed State Governments, Nodal Agencies for UIDSSSMT Scheme to follow this training module and organiase training programmes as per training module for Capacity Building. This was a great achievement for State Government and State Institute for Town Planning (formerly known as MPVPS). |

Traianing Programmes For 2012-2013 |
State Institute for Town Planning (formerly known as MPVPS) has prepare a traianing calendar for Capacity Building of Officers/Officials of Development Authorities and Special Area Develeopment Authorities of the State, and it has been targeted that 10 following training programmes/workshops will be organised during 2012-2013 for Development Authorities/Town & Country Planning. |

Out of above 11 traianing programmes/workshops, 9 ( S.No. 1 to 9) has been organized till date. Remaianing 2 will be organized till March 2013. In next year, State Institute for Town Planning (formerly known as MPVPS) is planning that these training programmes should be continued and a new calendar will be prepared. State Institute for Town Planning (formerly known as MPVPS) is also planning to organize these training programmes in-house and in larger scale. |
